The explanation by Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Arab Shah Al-Asfaraini (d. 944 AH) on the treatise on metaphors by Al-Samarkandi, which has been presented. He was alive after 1134 AH, and none of his translators mentioned the date of his death, but Issam al-Din Othman al-Amri (1134-1184) indicated in al-Rawd al-Nadr that he saw him when he was young.
