As for what follows, this is a book on the names of men, containing two chapters. The first chapter is about mentioning the Companions, male and female, and those who came after them among the Successors and others who have a mention or narration in the Book of Al-Mishkat, arranged according to the letters of the alphabet. Mention by nickname someone who is famous for his nickname without his name in the letter of the name, such as Abu Hurairah, whose name is Abdullah or Abdul Rahman. Mention him with the letter H, not in the letter Ain.
