The author is the commentator on Al-Kanz, and this treatise is about explaining the Basmalah and includes the following chapters: the first is the authors’ opening of their books, the second is about the language of its words, the third is about parsing, and the fourth is about speech and conclusion. There are also some corrections in the hand of the scribe in the margins.

Then the one who admits his inability says: Muhammad, the commentator on “Al-Kinz”: I have been there since the days of contentment, and I collected an example of the advent of Durr al-Nadhid, reciting the basmalah and praise.
