This is the opinion of the majority, and on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, all of it is Meccan, except for His Almighty’s saying, “Perhaps you have abandoned...” the verse, and Muqatil said, “Meccan except for His Almighty’s saying,” “Perhaps you have abandoned...,” the verse, and His saying, “...Those believe in Him....” It was revealed about Ibn Salam and his companions, and his saying. “...Indeed, good deeds eliminate evil deeds...” Revealed in Nabhan Al-Tamar
