Notes A valuable copy, divided into two parts. The transcription blank entry in the first part stated: (And the completion of it was at the hands of the poor servant of God Almighty, Ali bin Abi Bakr Ibn Ibn al-Muttarif al-Diri. God Almighty was his in this world and the hereafter...), and the transcription blank entry in the second part stated: (The completion of writing down its deficiency and correcting it was on the day of the blessed Monday, the eighteenth day of the blessed month of Ramadan in the year one thousand fifty-three, and that was at the hands of the poorest of God’s servants. May God have mercy on him... Hajj Muhammad bin the late Prince Hajj...), the copy is annotated, and has footnotes, the first of which is a citation transmitted by Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani after the author sent the book to him in a story, and the text of the tribute is: (Praise be to God and peace be upon His servants whom He has chosen. As for what follows: I came across this encouragement which was addressed by the person who took care of summarizing it, Al-Thuraya, from a nearby place and helped in his good faith to limit himself to what was requested, so it came in the utmost politeness. God, Glory be to Him, the Most High, is responsible for it benefiting its collector, and rewarding its reader and listener with great reward, and showering us with His great generosity in our hearts, sight, and hearing with shining lights, Amen. This was said and written by Ahmed bin Ali bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Hajar Al-Asqalani Al-Shafi’i...).
Sample Text God, Glory be to Him, and praise be to Him, made this nation happy when He placed among them this most glorious Messenger with a religion that would be upright throughout the ages and would be renewed. Then He completed the happiness for them by raising for them in every century notable guardians who would collect from his Sunnah what had been dissipated until they wrote down every chain of transmission from his honorable hadiths until at the end of the sixth century, Imam Al-Hafiz Abdul-Azim Al-Mundhiri came with this chain of transmission, and his light shone east and west to the sky, ascending, and he called it encouragement and terror.
