Praise be to the one who made the Hajj to the House obligatory... As for what follows, he says... Some of those who are dear to me who hesitate asked me to explain the rituals of Hajj, so I said, and God is the Helper: If a person reaches the meeqat, he must enter ihram from it, and the meaning of the meeqat is what its time is set by the Lawgiver, i.e., set by it.
