(The first part includes some of the Book of Purity to the Book of the Mute.) The date of composition appears in the year 941 AH, and the compiler thought it was the date of copying, despite this being clearly stated in Aftab’s index. The copyist wrote the text in black ink only, and appended to the beginning an index of the contents of the copy written in red ink, and in its footnotes were a number of comments, corrections, and corrections. Our copy was described in the index of manuscripts of Aftab’s relic, page 12, with the same preservation number. Copied by: See Brockelmann 1/378 and Appendix 1/648, including two copies in the Manuscript Institute in Baku, another in the Al-Biruni Institute in Tashkent, two in the Al-Marashi Al-Najafi Library in Qom, a copy of the Khudabakhsh Index 1672 with the author’s translation, and two copies in the Ghazi Khusraw Library 2/278-279.

(Praise be to God who favored us by teaching us the principles of Mabsut al-Jami` al-Kabir in rulings, and honored us by explaining its branches...) As for what follows, when we all organized the publication of fatwas from among the most beneficial of mothers and compiled the publication of disasters from among the most important tasks, this was done by the problem solver who revised and clarified the tasks and adjusted the scales to evaluate the claims and evidence.
