In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon the Master of Messengers and the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad the Prophet, and upon all his family. This is a book in which I remind readers of the Hijaz, the Levant, and Iraq, and explain their differences in hamza, talīn, assimilation, ṭaybīn, tilt, tafkīm, madd, qasr, proof, deletion, beginning, stopping, and other letters about which there is disagreement.
