As for what follows, this is a nice explanation that I combined with Ibn Malik’s Alfiyyah. It is a fine explanation of its author’s intent, and guides the student to its features... A study in which smells of investigation are exuded, and a collection of jokes to which no other explanations have preceded it. I called it “(The Satisfactory Delight in the Explanation of Al-Alfiyyah)” and by God I seek help, for it is the best helper. Al-Nazim, may God have mercy on him, said: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Muhammad said: He is the Sheikh Imam, Abu Abdullah Jamal al-Din Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Ibn Malik.
