Notes
This letter is an explanation of some of what was stated in his previous letter, “Fath Bari Al-Ataf...” This letter became confusing to the jurists of the Levant, so they sent to inquire about some of what was stated in it, and this is his response to them. Its pages are tabulated in red, and have some corrections in their footnotes.
Sample Text
And then the humiliated servant in secret and in public, Abu Al-Ikhlas, Hassan Al-Sharnabulali Al-Hanafi, says: A question has come to us from the Manila of Syria, which is guarded by Egypt, about the incident to which we wrote the answer in the letter, which is “Opening the Bari Al-Taf with the tables of the classes of those entitled to endowments.”
