The author is a historian, jurist, poet, writer, and theologian. His works include: Arjuza fi the History of Kings and Caliphs, Arjuza fi the History of Cairo, Mukhtasar Basa’ir al-Darajaat, Jumana al-Bahiyya, and Sabah al-Muhtadin. In these stories, he dealt with the stories of the imams, some of the caliphs and men, and what was said about them of wonderful poetry and prose.
