Notes
Most likely it is a translation of Hunayn bin Ishaq Al-Abadi. As we notice from the phrase mentioned at the beginning. It ends with folio (46b), perhaps in the same handwriting as the Constitution. The subsequent folios [48-53] contain the three folios. The first of them is a section from a book by Abd al-Rahman bin Nasr bin Abdullah al-Shaizri. He was a doctor in Aleppo around the year 1169 AD and then served King Saladin (who died in 1193 AD). He wrote (Nahj al-Suluk fi Politics of Kings), (The End of Rank in Asking for Hisbah), and (Khulasat al-Kalam fi Interpretation of Dreams). The author of the manuscript is known as al-Adawi and al-Nabrawi, but al-Shaizari is the most common. Here are three papers from one of his medical works, perhaps from Rawdat al-Qulub, containing general medical and therapeutic prescriptions. See Brockleman 1898, vol. 1: 390, 461, 488, and Appendix 1: 832. This is followed by two folios containing poetic verses and a story that has no direct relation to the subject of the basic set and is in a different, later script.
