Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and blessings be upon His Prophet Muhammad and all of his family. And then: Here is an introduction that interpreters need, including: the Qur’an, which in the language is a noun meaning plural. It is said: I read something, I read a thing as a Qur’an, meaning I took it, and in the meaning of reading, it is said: I read the book as a Qur’an, that is, reciting it, or a noun meaning the difference between the two things, if it separates them.
