Notes
The text is annotated, with some corrections and comments in the footnotes. In this book, the author explained a treatise on forty hadiths attributed to Mullah Ali al-Qari. The copyist distinguished the phrases of the annotated text by writing them in red. We have confirmed the text’s phrases at the end of the manuscript by placing them in parentheses to distinguish them from the explanation. Ismail Pasha Al-Baghdadi mentioned the year of the author’s death in “Hidayat Al-Arifeen” as 1189 AH, and in “Idah Al-Maknoun” as 1199 AH.

And then: Al-Raji says, “The Most Merciful has vindicated his creator, the Most Merciful,” Hanif Ibrahim: When the forty hadiths collected by the Lord Allamah Ali Al-Qari - may God have mercy on him - were among the collections of mosques and pearls of brilliance from the words of Sayyid Al-Wari, peace be upon him, the Saha did not rise above Umm Al-Qura; I wanted to solve its problems and clarify its dilemmas as much as possible despite the scarcity of goods, and I named it: Durr al-Thameen [sic in the original] in Sharh al-Arba’in.
