Some of its leaves are interspersed with unwritten white, and on leaves 15-16 we say from the first book (Mukhtasar Tahdheeb al-Kamal). (Al-Tahtheeb): by Jamal al-Din Yusuf bin al-Zaki al-Mazzi (d. 742 AH) and (Al-Kamal fi Ma’rifat al-Rijal) by Abd al-Ghani bin Abd al-Wahid al-Maqdisi (d. 600 AH). Al-Tahdheeb has many abbreviations.

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon all the prophets and messengers, especially the most honorable of all creation and the family of all other righteous people from his time until the Day of Judgment. After collecting the texts of the hadiths of the six imams and others from the books of the approved ones and fabricating the various narrations in scattered places in their books and chapters, I distinguished the additions related to each of them with lines of different colors and agreed by not drawing a line on top of them, and I worked hard to distinguish them and explain them according to what God has made easy, in the hope that He will accept it.
