Notes - The title in the manuscript came in “The Wars.” What was mentioned above is “wars” quoted from Ibn Khalkan, as will follow. - Ibn Khallikan said in the translation of “Al-Bayasi”: (“Deaths of Notables” 2: 617; Bulaq 1275 AH): “... he moved in the lands of Andalusia and toured most of them, and when he came from the island of Andalusia to the city of Tunisia, he compiled for Prince Abu Zakaria Yahya bin Abi Muhammad Abdul Wahed bin Abi Hafs Omar, the owner of Africa... a book that he called the media about the wars occurring at the beginning of Islam, in which he began with the killing of Omar bin Al-Khattab May God be pleased with him, and he concluded with the departure of Al-Walid bin Tarif Al-Shari against Harun Al-Rashid in the countries of the Euphrates Peninsula... I saw this book and read it, and it is in two volumes. He was good at compiling it, and his words about it are those of someone who knows this art.” - The author is a historian. Among the scholars of Andalusia and its memorizers of hadith: He attributed it to “Biyasa,” a large city in Andalusia, numbered in Kura Jiyan (Mu’jam al-Buldan 1: 773). He moved around Andalusia, traveled most of it, and died in Tunisia. Classify a group of books. Its translation and its effects in “Sifat Jazirat al-Andalus” are selected from the book “Al-Rawd al-Mu’ttar fi Khabar al-Aqtar” by Al-Himyari (pp. 57-59, edited by: Levi Provencal. Cairo 1937, (“History of Arabic Language Literature”: Zaydan, 3: 88-89), (“Al-A’lam” 9: 329-330), (“Dictionary of Authors” 13: 327), and the various references they mentioned, dealing with its translation and classifications. It was stated in the bulletin (“Arab Heritage News”: Cairo 8/1 and 8/15/1973), and (Dawat al-Haq magazine 16 [Morocco - December 1973] issue 3, p. 237) that the professor Shafiq Jaser, from Jordan, is preparing to discuss his master’s thesis, the subject of which is: the investigation of the first part of the book “Information of the Wars that Occurred at the Beginning of Islam” by Al-Bayasi, in the Department of History at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, under the supervision of Dr. Hassan Habashi. He reviewed the manuscripts related to his topic - a photocopy of a handwritten copy in the Egyptian House of Books, (numbered 399 dated), including a photocopy in the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts In Cairo, (No. 46). Dr. Lutfi Abdel Badie mentioned: (“Index of Illustrated Manuscripts” 2: 21): “What is extant is a part of it that begins with a chapter on the news of the Khawarij who gathered, and ends with what came from Sahih al-Athar fi al-Khawarij - an incomplete copy, the first and the last, 88 BC,...”
