Notes What is meant by “Harz” is: the poem “Harz al-Amani” by Al-Shatibi, and by “Taysir”: “The Book of Tayseer for Preserving the Seven Recitations” by Abu Amr al-Dani (see the entries for these two works in cards No. 192 and 164 with preservation numbers 915/3 and 6247 on the printed index, part 6, and on the digital library under the identification numbers 97922/97925, respectively). Systems and restrictions regarding the recitations and the control of the drawing were attached to it, including: - An arjouza called “The Masterpiece of Reciters” - Verses by Muhammad Barada - Verses by him. - A restriction by Abd al-Rahman Ibn al-Qadi - verses by him - Arjouza by Idris bin Omar al-Sharif, in what is known about the disagreement among the seven narrators.
