Notes In it, the author summarized the famous books in the ten recitations, then added to them the four abnormal recitations: Ibn Muhsin, Al-Yazidi, Al-Hasan, and Al-A’sha. It was printed by the Al-Maymaniyah Press in 1317 AH / 1899 AD, printed again in 1359 AH / 1940 AD, and printed with the correction of Ali Muhammad Al-Sabbagh in 1940 AD. The author is a scholar of recitations and one of the distinguished Naqshbandis. He was born and raised in Damietta and learned from the scholars of Cairo, Hijaz, and Yemen. He resided in Damietta, died as a pilgrim and was buried in Al-Baqi. Among his works are: A summary of the biography of Aleppo, a footnote to Sharh al-Mahli, and Sharh al-Waraqat by the Imam of the Two Holy Mosques. It is stated in Idḥāḥ al-Maknoun by al-Baghdadi 1/20 that the author’s date of death is 1116 AH/1704 AD.
