An annotated copy, with comments and corrections in the margins. Names and other words are written in red, and the text is marked with red lines above it. It was copied and copied from a copy in the handwriting of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr Al-Rashid, bearing the author’s approval, and the annotation was in the year 715 AH. The book was attributed on the title page to Nour al-Din al-Wasiti, but the copyist attributed it to Abdullah al-Iraqi.

Praise be to God who has made our tongues utter thanks for His blessings... And after that, this is a book containing deceptions from the chosen ones and those who tortured them, and pearls from the salt of prose and its chosen ones, containing noble wisdom and pleasant descriptions... and other rare arts, multiplying genres, and prophetic reports... and I called it “Anas Al-Wahid.”
