Praise be to God as He is worthy of praise, and blessings be upon Muhammad, His Messenger and His servant, and upon his family and companions after him. Now, O you who are keen to acquire knowledge that manifests itself from yourself, sincere desire and excessive thirst for it, if you intend by seeking knowledge to compete, show off, and get ahead of your peers, then you are helping to destroy your religion.
