Notes - In (“Kashf al-Zunun” 1: 611), he said: “The sums of pleasures: fi al-Bah” - The book has not been printed yet, and it is in fifty-four chapters. One of the most prolific and most original books examining sexual life. It deals with matters related to marriage, such as salt, anecdotes, poetry, sayings, and the like. Research is abundant in its methods, colors, and arts. The author drew his material from ancient books classified in this section, especially what was quoted from Hindi and Greek. The first is a continuation of what was stated at the end of the first section. - The two sections: the second, this and the first before it, comprise five parts. Each part brings together a number of chapters. - The second section includes parts: the rest of the third, fourth and fifth. - A photocopied copy (in two sections) of a handwritten copy (in one volume) in the Public Endowments Library in Baghdad. - This is a very valuable treasure copy. Braided, gilded. Her handwriting is exquisite, her pen is known for her commentary, and her titles are in Ijaza script. It is in five parts in one large volume (28/18 cm, 154 BC, 21 Q). See regarding it: (“Al-Mustadrak ‘ala Al-Kashshaf min Manuscripts of the Treasury of Endowments Books,” p. 320; No. 364/12154), and (“Index of Arabic Manuscripts in the Public Endowments Library in Baghdad” 4: 302-303; No. 6920). A written copy of it is in: Dar Al-Kutub Al-Misriyah, entitled “Jami’ Al-Luda” (No. 3156 L). See: (“Index of manuscripts acquired by the house from the years 1936 - 1955, first section, p. 203).
