He wrote under the title of the book: A Great Treatise on Elixir. - The author is probably Sheikh Muhammad Al-Ghumari, Al-Hasani, Al-Shafi’i. Among the scholars of the twelfth century AH: astronomer, calculator, botanist, grammarian. He has a number of works, including “The Convincing Rules for the Conversions of the Four Quantities” [in arithmetic], which he completed on the 16th of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year 1124 AH. His information is in: (“Hidayat al-Arifeen” 311: 2), (“Idah al-Maknoon” 1: 203, 581; 2: 090), (Khedive Index 0: 180, 187, 209, 318), (“Fahram Al-Azhariya”: 454), (“Index of the Egyptian House of Books” 9: 117), (Brockelmann “309: 2; Th 2: 487), “Dictionary of Authors” 11: 193). - The last page of this letter is as if it were from another book. Among what was stated in it: (...And God is the Granter of success to us and to you, and it is my suffice in writing this book, which I have called the Rank of the Wise. And in its completion and completion, there is no god but Him, Lord of the Great Throne. And may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, the Most Generous Master. This book was copied by the poor Abd al-Wahhab Ibn Suleiman al-Hadid and one of the people of Baghdad in the year three hundred and fifteen [sic] after the thousand AH). - Al-Hakim’s Rank: In Chemistry: by the philosopher Sheikh Abu Al-Qasim Maslama bin Ahmed bin Qasim bin Abdullah Al-Majriti, the imam of mathematicians in Andalusia (d. 398 AH). He arranged it in four articles in what he reads from the books of the pioneers and in the working stone and the making of elixirs. - A photocopy of a handwritten copy in the library of the Iraqi Museum - in Baghdad.
