Notes Sections of the book: The book is a therapeutic medical dictionary arranged alphabetically. It includes the benefits of medicines and individual foods from plants, animals, and minerals. Its author relied on Roman and Arab authors and his own experiences. It contains more than 1,400 medicines. The book begins with an introduction in which some chapters talk about medicines and their effects. Then he talks about doctors and herbalists, and how they did not know everything about medicines. Then he explains the method he followed in classification, then he begins by mentioning medicines that begin with the letter Al-Hamza... from the book, a perforated copy in the Turkish language, numbered 3154 in the year, printed in four parts in Bulaq 1291 AH. Sample Text Two types: minor and adult. The minor, such as crushing, is used in what the adult weakens, such as gums, juices, and every gentle medicine. The adult, it is from it to the end until it turns black, and it is gentle, such that it reaches its goal and penetrates the capillary pores, such as kohls and mouthwashes, and the part from it is below the goal.
Durum مخروم الأول مقدار ورقة واحدة، وخرم من آخره قسم من حرف اللام وبقسة الحروف الهجائية ما بعد اللام، أوراق الكتاب منفرطة مع أنه أصلح قديماً وألصقت بعض أوراقه بشكل غير فني، حيث طمس كثير من الكتابة في مواضع متعددة.
