Date 1112 AH/1700 AD; The book is from early twelfth century manuscripts
Notes Sections of the book: The author did not change the arrangement of Ibn al-Nafis, who divided the book into four sections: The first: On the rules of the two parts of medicine, his knowledge and practice, according to a universal statement. Second: in single and combined medicines and foods. Third: In diseases related to one organ or another, their causes, signs, and treatment. Fourth: In diseases that are not specific to one organ or another, their causes, signs, and treatment. Al-Aqsra’i’s work in Al-Mojaz was to explain and clarify to benefit the students and seek reward. He explained his objectives and fulfilled his rules, “the author’s saying,” relying on the most important books on medicine such as Al-Qanun, Al-Kamil, Al-Hawi, and the works of the virtuous sage Najib Al-Din Al-Samarqandi. At the end of the manuscript, the commentator added some standards used in drug standards. And his way of explaining: The author said... I say... In the margins there are many comments or corrections... On the first page is a description of rose paste and another paste that strengthens the brain, stomach, liver and spleen. Printed in India, undated.
Sample Text Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon His best prophet, Muhammad, and all of his family. Medicine is an honorable science due to the honor of its subject, the relevance of its evidence, and the intensity of the need for it, and in engaging in it there is an indescribably great reward, because it includes showing the mercy of God Almighty to His servants and pleading with Him to relieve their souls from illnesses. Therefore, I spent some of my time studying it, reading the famous abbreviations to my father, and reviewing most of what I learned of. Among other things, I read the summary of the law by Al-Hakim Ibn Al-Nafis
Durum يحتاج الكتاب إلى ترميم وإصلاح.
