Notes The front of the arc-shaped buckle displays a motif of arabesques with tendrils, rosettes, and tear-shaped elements. A hole through the front and the back, which was used to attach the buckle to the girdle, still has the ring and the clasp preserved. The back shows an Arabic stamp with the name of the ruler and the date: al-Mansur 1215. Imam al-Mansur "Ali I ruled from AH 1189 to 1224 (AD 1775-1809).
