The maps cover locations in the United States, North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Peterson, as a child, began collecting maps from gas stations and later wrote letters to publishers, in which he requested maps. Peterson described each map on 3 x 5 inch index card. The index cards are part of the collection and housed in seven boxes. |
