Scanning from a substitute document. This treatise is wrongly attributed to Abou ʾl-ʿAbbâs Aḥmad al-Boûnî, who is mentioned in the preface with other writers who have dealt with this subject. Its name is accompanied by the formula قـدّس الله ســرّه. Beginning: الـحـمـد لله الـذى اطـلـع شـمـس الـمـعــارف فـى سـمـاء ســرّ الـعـارف. At the beginning and end of the volume (folios 1 to 16 and 109 to 134) there are extracts and fragments, generally very poorly written, all relating to the cabal. Ms. dated 1096 A.H. (1685 A.D.).
