Notes النااة النية ș ااااااالملواالمارية Scanning from a substitute document. Historical summary composed of short notices on the emirs and sovereigns who ruled Egypt. The author, Lasan al-auteur oloûnî, or, after Hadji Khalfa, Lasan ibn Losaïn ibn Aș mad, was born in 832 of the helm (1428-1429 by J. C.). Hadji Khalfa says that the book stops in the year 909; but it is seen by our example that an anonymous man continued until the year 982 of the helm, whereas the Ottoman pasha, Khalazrat Masîș, was in charge of the government of Egypt. Following this book, a seemingly truncated copy of Schâh IsmaA îl's dispatch to Sultan Al-Ghaurî is written with the same hand. The front cover shows a prayer which must be recited after reading the ninety-fourth deaf of the Koran. Hadji Khalfa says that the work ceased in the year 909 ; but we see from our specimen that an anonymous person continued it until the year 982 AH, when the Ottoman pacha, Ḥazrat Masîḥ, was in charge of the government of Egypt. Following this work is found, written by the same hand, an apparently truncated copy of the despatch addressed by Schâh Ismaʿîl to Sultan Al-Ghaurî, with the latter’s reply. The commencement guard sheet carries a prayer to be recited after the recitation of the twenty-fourth Surah of the Qur'an. At the end of the volume are some medical recipes.
