At the top of f. 95 (ğuzv-i Mīrzā Taqī), 220 (Mīrzā Abū l-Qāsim), 252 (ğuzv-i Mullā-Bāšī), 258 (?), 274 ([...] Āhund Mullā Muḥ. Hāšim ?), 282 (...Āhund Mullā Muḥ. ‛Alī) and 371 (?), the inscriptions which were placed perhaps reveal the names of the copyists who shared the work. History of the thousand years that have passed since the beginning of Islam. Written between 993H.(/1585) and 997H.(/1589), at the request of Emperor Akbar, by a group of historians, it presents itself as a chronicle, the years being counted since the death (riḥlat) of the prophet. [The authors of the part which deals with the period going from years 1 to 36 since his death (f. 1v-58 of the ms.) are Mīr Ġiyyās al-Dīn ‛Alī b. ‛Abd al-Laṭīf Qazvīnī Naqīb Hān (d. 1023H./1614), Mīr Šāh Fatḥ-ullāh Šīrāzī (d. 997H./1589), Ḥakīm Humām b. ‛Abd al-Razzāq Šīrāzī (d. 1004H./1595), Ḥakīm ‛Alī Gīlānī (d. 1018H./1609), Ḥāğğī Ibrāhīm Sirhindī (d. 994H./1586), Mīrzā Niżām al-Dīn Aḥmad b. Muḥ. Muqīm Haravī [compare Persian Supplement 283], ‛Abd al-Qādir b. ‛Abd al- Mulūk Badā’ūnī Qādirī [compare to Persian Supplement 247].[The one who wrote the continuation alone until the reign of Ġāzān, in 694H. (679th year) (f. 58-345) is Qāzī-zāda Aḥmad b. Naṣr-ullāh Daybulī Tattavī. The writing of the section from the reign of Ġāzān to 997H. is due to Mīrzā Qivām al-Dīn Ğa‛far Bēg b. Badī‛ al-Zamān Qazvīnī, known as Āṣaf Hān (d. 1021H./1612).]Unfinished, the copy is interrupted here during the 919th year, i.e. 929H.(/1522-23).
