ʿʿāʿib al-badāʿiʿ Scanning from a substitute document. ʿAǧāʾib al-Badāʾiʿ Numbering effectuée on part of the substitution document. 1 day later, at 520 h/1126. Chronique suivie de wafayāt. Inc. (f. 12v): Praise be to God, who made the science of history the knowledge of the news of past nations (...) And after that, in mentioning biographies there is comfort for the heart, and glory be to God Exp. (f. 66v): And the common people used to curse them and shoot each other with crossbows. 66v-155: Faṣl fī ḏikr ʿaǧāʾib al-ḥikāyāt Chapter on mentioning the wonders of tales Inc. (f. 67): It is said that during the time of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali, may God bless him and grant him peace, was a judge called Shurayh Expp. et colophon (f. 155): For every matter he intended, the Messenger of God was truthful. The book has been completed and perhaps he is praised and blessed and generous.
