Ḥusām Banbānī (cf. f. 132, etc.), who was sent on an embassy to Bīdar in 907H.(/1501-2) by Maḥmūd Šāh Guğarātī (d. 917H./1511) to whom the work is dedicated. It is divided into an “article” (maqālat) I (f. 1v), a “chapter” (bāb) [sic] II (f. 59v) and a “part” (qism) [sic] III (f. 105). The last part [IVth] begins at f. 174, after the history of the Indian dynasties (which begins at f. 134), and it contains the biographical notices.
