Inc. (f. 4): Praise be to God, the guide of this nation, for the law He chose for it of faith and Islam. Inc. du Muršid (f. 5): Abd al-Wahid says, “Yen Asher,” beginning with the name of the Almighty God. Praise be to God, who has taught us of the sciences with which He has entrusted us. Exp. du Muršid (f. 103 v): I called him the guide who helps in the necessary sciences of religion, always benefiting from him, our Lord, for the sake of the Master of the People. Exp. du commentaire (f. 104): Thank God for that, and may blessings and peace be upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the Guide and the Generous, and two descriptions of him, peace be upon him.
