Before entering into a large oven, in the same sage Balînôs (Blinus) exposes all the mysteries of creation, and don't give a second part of the title of the Book of Creation. Commencement: I say this book of mine, describing the wisdom that I expressed so that you may hear my wisdom, etc. The next paragraph begins ainsi: I am Pliny the Wise, the Possessor of talismans and wonders. I am the one who was given wisdom from the Ruler of the world with a specificity that was transmitted with nature. A la fin de l'ouvrage, le traducteur s'prime ainsi: We have finished interpreting the Book of Causes which was called by Plinus the Collector of Things, and I am Sahous (sic), the priest whose house was in Nablus. I am the one who translated the book of Plinus the Wise, the Author of Talisman and Wonders, and revealed what was hidden in his book of the secrets of the knowledge of things, etc. On the other hand, from these extras, that we all know the meaning of the mystery of creation, attributable to Apollonius of Tyane, don't M. de Sacy publish a notice.
