This copy was written in 826 AH (1423 AD), by ʿÎsâ ibn al-Aghbarî, uterine brother of the author (شقيق مؤلفه). We do not know who this Ayyubid sultan from the 9th century AH is. The princes of this dynasty generally bear the title of Al-Malik al-ʿÂdil.
