(f. 209): And the witness is Friday, and the sun has not risen or set on a day better than that in which there is an hour, and a Muslim servant does not meet it when he prays to God for good except that God responds to him, and he does not seek refuge from anything except that God protects him from it... I finished writing it on the blessed Monday, the twenty-eighth of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year nine hundred and seventy-seven, the promised day is the Day of Resurrection and the witnessed day is the Day of Arafat.
