Fragment of the fourth Lawḥ of the Alwāḥ al-ʿimādiyya of Šihāb al-Dīn al-Suhrawardī The fragment contains the end of the second qāʾida, qawāʿid 3-10, complete, and the beginning of the eleventh qāʾida. The extent of the preserved fragment corresponds to p. 75.6-92.16 of the edition of this text. The correct order for reading the folios is: 1 (ed. p. 75.6-15), 9 (p. 75.15-78.10), 3 (starts with p. 78.10), 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (ends on p.) 89.15, 10 (p. 89.15-91.12), 2 (p. 91.l.12-92.16). A gap appears between folios 5v and 6r (sixth qāʾida). First words: وبنـ.ـنا فوقكم سبعا شدادا يثنيه قوله عيها ملايـ.ـه ... شداد لا يعصون اللّه ما امرهم لعدم التفاتهم الى ما ثحتهم ولعدم شواغلهم ما يومرون ... ... ... بعد ذكر ما امر اللّه اشارة الي طاعة النفوس لمعشوقاتها العقلية ويثني قوله ويفعلون ما يومرون قـوله مطاع ثم امين يدلّ على ان فى المفارقات مطيعا كعالم النفس ومطاعا كعالم العقل ويدلّ على دوام أئتمارهم وعدم انقطاع ما هم بسبيله من الحركة Last words: قاعدة ونعلم انّ نفوسنا هى بالقوّة اوّل ما يحصل ثم يحصل فيها الاوائل وينتمل منها الى الثواني فواسطة وجود نفوسنا ومكمّلها ومخرجها من القوة الى الفعل هو ما سمّاه الحكمآء العقل الفعال وتسميه الشرع روح القدس نسبته الى عقولنا كنسبة الشمس الى ابصارنا وهو الروح الذي أضف الى الحقّ فى المثانى التى اوردناها من قبل كقوله تعالى ونفخت فيه من روحى واخواته
