It appears to be the (abbreviated) compilation of Pictures of the Fixed Planets by Abu al-Hussein Abd al-Rahman bin Omar al-Sufi (d. 376), compiled by his “son” Abu Ali. A copy written in the year 1130 in Isfahan by its writer, Muhammad Jaafar. 30 Western leaves, 140:213 mm; Includes 46 drawn images of the planets. - Ownership Restrictions: Saleh Ould Al-Mu’min 1125 (Khatima Edition); Muhammad Redha bin the late Agha Baqir (?). The first of them is: “In the name of the just, unified God: Ba (the best of his creation, Muhammad): This is an article by Abu Ali: the son of Abu Hussein al-Sawaf and in the description of the stars and the spheres: he created it for the king of the kingdoms, Shahenshah: my brother, the Excellency, the pride of God’s religion... oh my questioner about the sphere of the planets, etc.” - From the image of the Little Bear to the male Southern Whale.
