Medieval romance about the exploits of legendary heros in the Arab-Byzantine wars in the time of the Umayyad and early Abbasid caliphs, until the reign of al-Wathiq (late seventh to mid-9th century) Manuscript gatherings and loose leaves. Title devised by the cataloger. Identification uncertain: a card accompanying the manuscript identifies it as #118, a portion of Sirat al-mojahadin in 142 leaves, while this item itself consists of only 47 leaves.
