Sample Text Scanning from an original document: Persian Supplement 96. This ms is the n°56 of the list of Eastern ms reported from India in 1762 by Anquetil-Duperron. Digitization carried out from an original document: Persian Supplement 96. Cf. Persian 75. Copy containing, after the preface and the table of four parts (f. 2-7), the first of these qism, which is incomplete. Unfinished, it only includes bāb I (f. 7) to XV (f. 250v). And the latter stops (f. 254) in the middle of the series of anecdotes which constitute it. The version found in this unfinished copy presents differences with the versions found in Persian Supplement 95 and 906 or in Persian 75. In f. 2v, a stamp and a mark in the name of [...] al-Ḥusaynī are scratched. We find ibidem the date of Ṣafar 1038H. (/September-October 1628) and the name of Mu‛īn al-Dīn ‛Alī al-Ḥusaynī. In f. 254v some bayt in Persian were copied in the “blessed land” (balada-i ṭā’iba) of Ašraf by Šāh Muḥ. Pīr Bayāzī in Rağab 1037H. (/1627) for “the service of (...)(?)”. In f. 1 note indicates that a girl named Nūr al-Nisā Bēgum was born on Tuesday 22 Muḥarram 1063H.(/December 23, 1652). In f. 2 and f. 253v, a partially legible stamp bears a motto (...) salām (...). In f. 2v feature the ex-libris of Abū l-Fazl b. Ġiyyās al-Dīn Manṣūr al-Ḥasanī al-Ḥusaynī al-Anğavī [compare to Persian Supplement 737] and a stamp in the name of Mīr Abū l-Fazl which is dated 1084H.(/1674).According to a note placed in f. 1, this ms. had been offered as a gift in 1096H. (/1685) by Mīr Maw‛iż (Īnğū ?). At the same f. 1 and f. 154v two bayt in Persian are in the same hand as this note. This ms. is No. 56 in the list of ms.
