Scanning from a substitute document. Collection of instructive histories, divided into Seances (Mĕlș), by Al-Moueâfâ ibn Zakarîya al-Djarîrî, distinguished traditionist, who died in 390 of the Hegir (1000 of AD). (See the Biographical Dictionary of Ibn Khallikân, Volume III, p. 374 of the English translation.) This month contains the first five sessions; but the beginning of the first and the end of the fifth are missing. Then comes the third section of the book (fol. 27), which begins with the twelfth meeting and ends with the seventeenth. At the time 67 begins the twenty-fourth meeting and the volume ends with the twenty-ninth. The text is often without diacritic dots. الجليس الصالح الكافى و الانيس الناصح الشافى Numbering carried out from a document of substitution.
