The relationship between this text and the words of Badāʾiʿ al-Zuhūr fī waqāʾiʿ al-Duhūr attribués were sent to Ibn Iyās, followed by the son of al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī, see the article by D. Wasserstein.Inc. (f. 1v): Praise be to God, the Ancient, the First, the Eternal, the Unchanging (...) And after that, I composed this history from the benefits of those who came forward in all histories. Colophon (f. 349): The completion of this blessed copy was on the blessed Thursday, the thirteenth of Rajab, in the year thirty-eight after the thousand, and we are sufficient, the best disposer of affairs (...) at the hands of the poorest and most needy of God’s servants, the poor Sultan, may God forgive him and his parents... The text was edited in 1954 so that the title of Badāʾiʿ al-Zuhūr fī Waqāʾiʿ al-Duhūr attribué to Muḥammad ibn Iyās al-Ḥanafī is published in this manuscript. It was discovered on March 13, 1038/8, 1629 (f. 349).
