Persian 238 (IX)). Comprising 469 bayt, this anthology follows the division into 10 bāb of the poem. It differs from the shorter one contained in the ms. Persian supplement 1515.Incipit f. 2v cf. Persian 238 (IX).Explicit f. 22 cf. Persian 238 (IX). On the v° of the tail guard, two stamps have been overprinted, as well as an Ottoman initial on f. 1. On the first guard, an octagonal stamp bears rāǧī-i lutf-i H̱udā but the name that follows (Muḥ... ?) is overprinted.Ms. coming from the library of Nicolas Fouquet (cf. ms. Fr. 9438 f. 174v, in the inventory drawn up in 1665, 3 books were prized), entered in 1667 at the King's Library. However, it bears in f. keeps the brief notice “Versi amorosi persiani”, in the hand of Denis de la Haye-Ventelet, like the notices of ms. Persian 24, etc., which come from the Bible. of Mazarin, or that of Persan 243; perhaps it was given to Fouquet by the Hague. A notice signed by Armain (n° 354) appears in the v° of the 1st guard.
