Notes	The verses "Only the pure can touch it. It was sent down by the Lord of the worlds" (Vakıa: 79-80) led to the search for reducing hand contact with the Quran, and the need for a Quran reading stick arose. The reading stick makes it easy to follow lines without touching fingers. The stem of the example here, to which a small amber stone is attached with a chain, is decorated with a flower bouquet in a pot made in the 19th century decoration style. The body of the stick is twisted in some places and straight in others. On the flat part above, Sultan II. It contains the signature of Abdulhamid (r. 1876-1909). The tip of the rod is rounded; A flower with large petals is placed in the section separating the stem from its tip. There is a sah stamp on the leaf of the flower.
