| Notes | One side of the case, designed in the form of a rectangular box, is decorated with a diamond form containing flowers in a vase and relief floral branch motifs around the form. On the other side, there is a sliced relief medallion with the "seal of Solomon" and the wheel of fortune motif. The Seal of Solomon motif, which is believed to prevent the devil from entering the place and is used as a protective talisman against evil and evil eyes, emphasizes the protective function of the book cover in the exhibition. The handles on both sides indicate that the sheath was hung high on the wall with a ribbon. |
