without boards — carefully written, but the orthography shows some mistakes — palm leaf — Old Javanese Eposin Indian meters. The manuscript was to be supplemented with glosses
above and below the individual lines of the Old Javanese text,but the scribe did not
begin this part of his work. The 33 palm leaves contain one of the key episodes of
the great battle in which some of the Kaurawa princes are killed. It can be found
in canto 26-29 of the ancient Javanese poem.
