Pandya king, but then turned to religious life. As a Shiva devotee
He wrote hymns that represent a highlight of this genre in Tamil literature.
His two major works were included in the Tirumurai, the holy book of Tamil
Shivaites, recorded. The present legend arose in the 14th or 15th century
of his life. He had already become a saint. reported in 545 verses
the legend of the task of his world life, his miraculous deeds and conflicts
