Semi-block letter line layout is identical on the front (Chinese) and back (Old Turkish). — black — Uigur script → Square script — paper — Fragment of text from the Manichaean book of hymns (M III, 24-28: No. 9; Clark (2013),
283-358: LP 001-552), for which no parallel text has been proven in the surviving text
is. The fragments Ch/U 6963 + Ch/U 6042 verso are further fragments
the manuscript presented here. The preserved text and the Chinese text on
the front (text gap between Ch/U 6963 + Ch/U 6042 recto and Ch/U 6348 recto
is approx. 32 Chinese lines of text) suggests that there is a fragment here
from the beginning of the hymn book, as already arranged in M III, text no. 9.
