To fill the line, the writer extends the connecting line between the last but one
and the last grapheme by the distance from the end of the word to the bottom edge ruling
minimize. — black — Uigur script → Square script — paper — Buddhist confession of sins, which is in shortened form for the lines U 4966/r/1/-/5/
has a parallel in the Confession of Sins Chapter (Chapter 5) of the Altun Yaruk Sudur,
cf. Suv 134,1-8. See also another example of a shortened text version
the fragments U 3536 and U 891 (VOHD 13.13 # 144, 145). The book roll format could
perhaps indicate an independent manuscript comprising only the 5th chapter,
see also VOHD 13.13, p. 13 (introduction).
