of a non-Ceṭṭiyār (account with receipted withdrawals, “received,” and acknowledged
Deposits – paṟṟuvaravuk kaṇakku). Neither Anzenhofer nor I were able to determine the location of the place “Kṣakuṭi”. Possibly
it is Cakkuṭi (a panchayat) in Maturai district. As is in CT400
in CT405 the business partner of the place Kṣakuṭi Mr. Karuppuṭaiyāṉ. - uṭaiyār (Tamil Lexicon, vol. i, p. 401) n. < id. Hon. pl. 2. Title of certain castes
of cultivators.
