brown carved wooden boards — palm leaf — On the boards (penangkep) there is some Arabic script as tsa ( ث ), ta ( ت ) and two
others letters but they are not as clear. Menak Amir Hamza romance. Islamic epical tales about the exploits of the Prophet’s
uncle, Hamza, and his family, warring against the infidels. At one point in the tale,
Hamza is asleep in the temple and woken by Sang Rětna. There is a stamp of the Museum für Indische Kunst Berlin.
